ok fighters..

here is the remake of my 2nd build map ever..


dm_bk_breenbox becomes dm_bk_breenbox2010

the look and ambience now feels more like this map was ment on my 1rst try.. Smile
lots of details, a complete new lighting and background sound added..

this is rc1 = release candidate 1.. ready for a test Cool

has:

16 spawnpoints

1 lift (new-edit)
1 ballspawner (new-edit)
1 supercharger
1 physics only teleport (new)
1 trap (new)
2 jump-pads (new-edit)
4 buttons (new)
(half) a secret (new)

button 1: / switching on a lil electro-shock trap (glass-chamber water)
button 2: / switching off the ballspawner
button 3+4 /playing sounds

5 ladders (1added)


weapons:

stunstick
crowbar
slams
grenades
3X 357
3X x-bow
3X shotgun
4X ar2 (3X orbs)

lots of physics
[BK],(A) + Combine-logo custom phys)
[BK] custom skinned explosive barrels

shadows on some custom physics was baked into them on compiling the map

try a fix in rc2 then.. Rolling Eyes

the phys teleport..

works with all physics ..but not really good with boombarrels Twisted Evil

oh and there´s a lil trap Embarassed

when activated, it will hurt for 5 sec
but nobody will stay still for 5 sec i guess.. Laughing
so its more fun than a deadly one

after each use.. it needs (?)seconds for reloading Wink

btw.. how the hell u can run it with 299FPS?? awesome..


how do u like the new look??

an updated rc1 with the 3 missing textures within above now


oh and 2 questions about the weapons..

should i change 1 of 4 AR2´s to a Shotgun ??
and what about the AR2 Orbs.. is 3 too much ??

post ur opinions for an rc2 version.. cheers

Yes i love my 299fps , i get that on most maps , but i was standing still and running the map from this PC (create server) if that makes a difference

yes... create server your end is a difference ..
but even there 299 in a map where i got sometimes fps of 60
(depending on my point of view ingame) (a.e. from one corner to center) its just OO .

i think i love ur hardware Very Happy


hmm its ready for the server..
but if u prefer to have 4 shotguns instead of 3 .. and 1 ar2 less same time.. and maybe 2 instead of 3 ar2 orbs then i could change it within the next days.. early WE or so..

would give me also some time to fix some lil fading settings for some of the models.. Embarassed
